Changed Assignment Due Monday, 9/21/09

The students need to finish making their flashcards for the 8 definitions under "Types of Maps" in their notebooks. They should use the flashcards to study for Monday's quiz. In addition, they need to be able to locate the following on a world map: North America, South America, Africa, Antarctica, Europe, Asia, Australia, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Arctic Ocean, Southern Ocean. They could use an atlas or play the game at http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/World_Continents.htm to practice.

Five of the 25 points on Monday's quiz will be earned by bringing the completed flashcards to class. A student who does not bring the cards to class will not earn those five points.
